DVD live connects to my wireless system with 1 click. This is why I chose to make SL7 my primary OS over other OSs. Once SL7 is installed, it does not automatically use DHCP and rarely can be installed even manually with 30+ minutes of trying. Why?
SL 4, 5 & 6 worked with DHCP for years but 7 does not. Manual install gets into a loop where security code is asked for over and over and, even though it presents the code back for confirmation, it then does not use it. Root password is asked for multiple times but it makes no difference. If I want to use SL7 as my primary OS, I have to use it from the live DVD which I will not continue to do. My patients is running out. Sabayon used to be reliable, now it is not. Can anyone help?
My system is HP Pavilion dv6810, which has worked well with earlier versions of Sabayon for several years.
Thank you for your help.
