knetworkmanager now uneditable? what?

Postby sedo_5 » Fri Sep 16, 2011 11:55

Hi everyone.

I noticed a very annoying difference in knetwork manager (i use kde) in the last upgrades.
I hand't the need to change settings in KNetMan i nthe past months, so I don't know since when these changes showed up, anyway i think it's a matter of some upgrades...
Anyway, now I cannot edit any wireless entry (neither adding a new one nor deleting), since it says "you have no proviledges" and all the old entries now are named "System(namexxx)" ...seems like now the settings are owned by root!
What's that? how am I supposed to change wireless settings from my normal user now? I think it's really a useless way to go! :x

Can you suggest me about how to go back to the old knetw.man. behaviour?

Thanks in advance

Renzo :)
