tool to find if I am in my network

Yet improving my sabayon, I search a way to look up if I am in my home network or not.

If I am in my network, with my server online, I switch to a home runlevel which contain nfs, ntp and other things.
If not, staying on the default runlevel.

After that, I will have to get my wifi card works...

Don't really understand your question. Can't you just use ifconfig?

I use dhcpcd and ifconfig, of course. But if I am at home, I would like to switch to a specific runlevel.

I thought to install ifplugd, but it's quite hard... And how to detect where I am ?

In fact, I can load all my network services such as nfs or distcc in the default runlevel, but I think it's a little bit "ugly"...

Why loading nfsmount if there's not my nfs server ?
