I just put Sabayon 5.1 on my netbook yersterday and made a big update by sulfur during the night. I wake up this morning after rebooting wicd don't find any wifi connexion. (It was working well just before rebooting)
I tried to re-install kNetworkManager and wicd but nothing changed. It seems that my wireless card is not recognized anymore.
- Code: Select all
# iwlist wlan0 scan
wlan0 Interface doesn't support scanning : Network is down
# ifconfig wlan0 up
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type
I don't have much linux experience but my wifi card worked so the driver must be installed, I never had to install it. I am for now using ethernet.
My wireless : ralink RT2700E
My netbook : MSI Wind U100-X
Using KDE 4.4.0
Any clue on what's going wrong?
