It works on 3.5 release. right out of the box.
I had no trouble... this is the first distro that this has happened.

I have a Vostro 1000 with Dell Wireless 1395 (WPA2) and it didn't work out of the box with v3.5 64bit.
Now I'm stuck with XP again for months (yes I used Sab for a long long time on a desktop PC and I miss it)

UPDATE: damn damn damn!! I feel so stupid![]()
Typing this wireless in live mode from 3.5 64bit , ndiswrapper works with r174192 drivers from dell. arghhh , I' ll be back, going to start the installation any minute from now

I have a small problem with ndiswrapper....
I have to type "modprobe ndiswrapper" manually after each reboot.
I've tried to add the module to /etc/conf.d/modules, like:
module="ndiswrapper" (adding arguments like "modprobe" didn't help either)
...but that didn't help.
Anyone has the solution ?
For some reason, /etc/modules.autoload.d/ is gone since v3.5
