Wireless only connects to unsecure networks

Hi,

I thought I had the wireless thing sorted but I seem to be only able to connect to unsecured networks. I try the wireless at home and it simply fails to connect to one which requires a passkey (which I have by the way). It keeps on to 28% and keeps asking for the passkey over and over again.

Any idea what's wrong?

need more info. what nic, what drivers?

using wpa_supplicant? WEP vs. WPA?

I am not too sure what you mean, how would I find this information out?
