That means that my wirelesscard is an Atheros Communications, Inc. AR2413 802.11bg NIC (rev 01).

My problem is that I cant find the card in the network manager. It doesent seem to be installed or activated.
Anyone who can help me with this issue please?

I have an Acer Aspire 5050, and had the same problem.
I kind of solved that problem, in part... My wireless card is detected, and sometimes I can go wireless. The most of the time, knetworkmanager just try to connect.

First, you have to install acer_acpi and then ndiswrapper with the windows driver suitable for your card:

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=580672&page=2

Start just where it says:

Code: Select all
mkdir ~/download

do not follow the step of the script, because it does not work in Sabayon, continue after the script step until this step:

Code: Select all
sudo update-rc.d acer_acpi_wireless_enable start 39 S . start 34 0 6 .

Then, go to this thread:

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=512828

Follow the steps described there, and then follow this wiki:

http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_Acer_Aspire_5024#WiFi

just from the step where it says:

Code: Select all
# ndiswrapper -l

to the step where it says:

Code: Select all
# /etc/init.d/net.wlan0 start

Hint: if you install acer_acpi above 0.7 (I recommend 0.8.2), then instead of:

Code: Select all
echo -n "enabled: 1"

replace with:

Code: Select all
echo 1

Then, hit the wireless kill switch in the front of the laptop (you won't see anything), restart and good luck !

I still don't know the correct step by step, I wish to know exactly which steps worked, and which steps don't, but I did that (in that order), and get it to work twice

If this is confusing I could write a step by step, just let me know.
