I just installed Sabayon 3.4 mini (can't install the DVD version since my DVD drive won't read DVDs anymore), and to my unpleasant surprise I realized that my wired LAN card (Broadcomm 440) has issues. In Sabayon 3.3b mini, both wired and wireless was working perfectly, but now I can't get an IP address from my router, and even when I get it, a few minutes later I'm not able to connect to the Internet.
Anyone had a similar problem? I'd appreciate any leads.

my best guess is you should try unmerging the existing driver and compile a more recent driver or a better supported driver.
