I'd like to install Sabayon 3.4e, but I am turned off by all the software that it has. Since the Mini-Editions haven't come out yet, I was wondering if there was a simple way to get rid of the unnecessary programs from the DVD version.

May want to look at:
http://wiki.sabayonlinux.org/index.php? ... tage_GuideThe installer has abilities to use package selection
Taking the dvd to removing stuff is not the easiest, as you would have to remove the dependencies too. If you don't know what is what, you're gonna end up with stuff broke. The minis are coming if you can just have patience or use the package selection feature in the DVD installer.
