I upgraded from 3.4 loop 3 to 3.4a
First I left the bootloader unchanged, but then it wouldn't boot.
Then I re-upgraded and let the installer change the bootloader. It's located in the mbr.
It still won't boot. I can see the bootscreen of Sabayon and then itr gives me: 'cannot specify root device...'
I have a dualboot with WinXP on sda1 and sabayon with the root partition on sdb1.
I re-upgraded again and this time added to the bootloader manually:
Sabayon / dev/sda1
When I boot that from the bootscreen I get the error:
'root noverify (hd1,0)
chainloader +1
Error 13: invalid or unsupported executable format'
How can I make my fresh new upgraded Sabayon boot again?
Thanks in advance.
