genkernel and sab 3.4 failure

i compiled it with ONE change: SLUB. and i tried compiling it with NO changes, just for the fun of it... same stuff. what is unionfs, and can i turn it off?

I don't know if sabayon 3.4 uses it, since I don't have it, but I believe that you can compile the kernel without it and use the system just fine.
