Installation problem..New potential Sabayon user.

Hey, I'm new to Sabayon.(I've used a couple other distros in the past, on my laptop.) Trying to install a linux os on my stationary computer for the first time I've decided to try this OS. It looks wonderful, but it can't seem to find my screen and/or video card.

I have downloaded the current DVD image. I chose GUI install from the menu and eventually a message that my screen hadn't been found. This are my relevant specs: (i suppose)

- A Samsung syncmaster 173T monitor
- XFX GeForce 8800GTS

These are connected with that new DVI plug thingy. No VGA.

Would these settings normally require some modifications to the standard install settings? In that case how?

Thanks for reading!

See the Sabayon wiki for bootcodes.

Cant find any bootcodes. Anyways...if I manage to install Sabayon without it finding my monitor, would i be able to use it? Isn't that kinda crucial hardware? ;)
