How do install on Windows 8 pc?

Hi,

if I want to install sabayon on a pc that contains the glorious windows 8 operating system amongst UEFI - how do I do it?? I saw that it is possible to deactivate UEFI on that computer in the bios but after installing sabayon there was no linux and no grub2 coming up!

So what's the trick with windows 8?

Download one of the latest DAILY iso images, and just... run it. If you plan to install it, you will then find a new boot entry, probably called "Grub something" or maybe "Sabayon something". Shim, will kick in, and you need to enroll the Sabayon SecureBoot key available inside BOOT/EFI or BOOT/SABAYON (it's called enroll-this.cer). Once done that, Grub2 will load and you will able to boot Sabayon with SecureBoot enabled.

Do we still need to do that? or the new daily iso does it for us?

This is mandatory with SecureBoot, you will be prompted at boot, if and only if your system has SecureBoot enabled.

ok, but the daily iso I have can't boot with secure boot enable
