Screen issues after installation

Hi all,
I have a AMD dual core desktop (15 months old) with 4 gig memory and 500G HD, plus an ATI HD 3000 Graphics card. Here is my issue. When I install Sabayon 10 (G, Mate or Xfce) the first screen shot following installation, my screen (1900/1080) is divided up into 6 small mini-screens. I have never experienced this before. Any ideas how to deal with this (perhaps a graphic driver issue?).
