Sabayon 6 Fresh Install Fail

Doing a fresh install of sabayon 6.0 on an existing (full) partition with LVM management will cause a bug (you can't install)...you should format (if u want to delete the entire partition) the partition before installing, with the liveCD.

Could you please boot from your live medium SL, open a Terminal/ Konsole and run as root:

su

password - characters are not shown - ENTER

fdisk -l

lowercase l like list,
and

Code: Select all

parted -l print

and see if a partition manager is installed (Applications > System > Partition editor).
If yes, start it and see your partitions, maybe add a screenshot.
