installer = Fail? (or is it Me = Fail?) [Solved]

so i'm on the installer right now, figure okay cool. i want to get back into saby. been a while. i didn't wanna fuss with the partitioning so i let it do it itself and it failed. i figured okay, i can clean sweep my HDDs and start over. well. i went back to install it and it threw this at me. its calling it an "unhandled exception... most likely a bug..." help?:

anyone have any idea on how i can just get saby installed?! i need an OS!!! i'm running 5.0 on the live DVD right now (SLOWWWW) halp me plzzz i feel like a noob again >.< if u need any more info, i can give u. just ask.

did you update the installer ?

also, did you check the md5sum of your iso and burn the iso as slow as possible?

the md5sum all checked out. the installer hadn't been updated. however. even after updating it, it's giving me something very similar. except i noticed that it's called

raise SystemError, "pvremove failed"
SystemError: pvremove failed

so i dont know what to do. i'll just burn another ISO and hope that it works?

turns out it was the installer. i guess the md5sum doesn't always mean it'll work. despite the integrity check working, it just wasn't up to par. i reburned the ISO onto a new DVD, went to install it and only had my (computer specific) hard drive issues that i had to work around. this has been solved. +1 for being back on sabayon
