[3.4e] question: which config files to change

After I ran 'emerge --sync' these were the last lines of info on the screen as a result from the command which had just run:

** Skipping packages. Run 'fixpackages' or set it in FEATURES to fix the
tbz2's in the packages directory. Note: This can take a very long time.

So I ran 'emerge portage' That worked fine, but it leaves me puzzled with the following message:

>>> No outdated packages were found on your system.
* GNU info directory index is up-to-date.
* IMPORTANT: 2 config files in '/etc' need updating.
* Type emerge --help config to learn how to update config files.

emerge: the other white meat (command-line interface to the Portage system)
Usage:

Question: which config files should be updated ?
Question2: should I still run 'fixpackages' ?

Running 'fixpackages' has never -- to my knowledge -- caused me any problems.

etc-update used to be the default / works as well but using incorrect options here can damage your config.
I use -5 but this is likely not a correct one to use but it works.

Just search the forums here as there is several post with info listed here about this , might even be in the wiki on top of this page.

If you are used to OpenBSD, working with a Gentoo based linux is quite different
Started Sabayon as I like to have a gaming machine, with little hassle to set up. So far SL proved the only Linux to work out of the box on my laptop incl wireless. That's nice. Looks good too. Have a running machine with Slackware too. Want to testdrive SL to see if it is better to move to SL and abandon Slack (after many years).
