Until the bug is fixed you can run the game by putting libexif.so* files from x86 package into the game directory. Here are detailed steps:
1) go to https://packages.sabayon.org/ and search for "libexif";
2) download x86 version of libexif;
3) extract its content;
4) copy 3 files (libexif.so libexif.so.12 libexif.so.12.3.3) from usr/lib folder of extracted libexif to your Dwarfs folder (mine is .local/share/Steam/SteamApps/common/Dwarfs)
5) bun the game and enjoy it
