Warsow 6.0.2 from Unified ZIP libjpeg.so.62

Hi!

I have Sabayon 6 x86_64 and I have a problem. When I'm trying to launch the game, I can read:

/home/ryszard/warsow_0.6.2_unified/warsow.x86_64: error while loading shared libraries: libjpeg.so.62: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory


I tried:

revdep-rebuild --library libjpeg.so.62


But it did nothing. What should I do?

In my SL6 x86_64 K edition I get:

# find / -name libjpeg.so.62
/usr/lib32/libjpeg.so.62

You could try symlikinking the library to /usr/lib.
First of all search on your Sabayon if the library is present with the command i posted above, then

ln -s path/to/libjpeg.so.62 /usr/lib/libjpeg.so.62

I got the same problem. I installed the jpeg-8c lib and it woked for me
You should search in the sabayon-weekly repositorthe entropy database, via cli or using the sulfur program, should see a string "like jpeg-8c branch: 5" or something. The following example is made searchin via cli usin equo:

became root and type

equo search jpeg-8c

should get the following output:
