what video card are you running this on? the current wine-1.2-rc5 on sabayon 5.3G works flawlessly for me.

go to http://www.guildwars.com/download then open a teminal and

wine /download/location/gwsetup.exe

then terminal

then to run it , run it in the command/shortcut/fluxbox as
