KISS (Keep It Simple System)

Postby bobcollard » Sat Aug 14, 2010 14:25

After a year of distro hopping I have landed on Sabayon, I have tried many desktops and decided on Xfce. Light and fast, it suits my needs. Then I narrowed my search for applications down to one for each purpose. In Graphics: F-spot for viewing, Gimp for altering and Wally for wallpaper changing. In Multimedia: Brasero for burning, Banshee for music and Gxine for videos. In Network: Firefox and Thunderbird. In Office: Openoffice.org Productivity Suite. Finally to keep them all on hand Cairo-dock. Everything works on my system.
