some problem copying from CD

i tried copying a *.dat file from a CD but i dont have sufficient permissions to do so... an anyone help me please?

how can i use 'vcdxrip' to solve this problem?

Try to login as root or using the normal user and super user terminal / super user file manager you should have root access and so can copy and do other stuff if you need.

Think they are under settings in start menu in kde.
