maybe think about integrating everyGUI,
http://everygui.sourceforge.net/
it makes gui creation for command line tools easy, but i couldn't get it to install, it does look good though

Onefinger also does a similar job, would you like an ebuild made for everygui ?

I could make an ebuild for it, and then if lxnay or rubengonc approves it that ebuild could be placed in sabayon overlay.
