I installed Sabayon x64 over the weekend on my basement basement box (sent kubuntu it's walking papers, no hard feelings, but Sabayon is nicer, and I looked at my ebuild of kdenlive-0.4 that I sent to cvil64 last week. I noticed that the build configuration for the ebuilds within Sabayon for some of the dependencies of kdenlive-0.4 were/are set differently than the recommendation given on the kdenlive site.

Now I'm up against my knowledge of ebuilds, is it possible to, within an ebuild, set the build configuration of it's dependencies?

DEPEND="" just a normal dependency for it to function
PDEPEND="" Something necssary for it to actually install and link against
RDEPEND="" runtime dependency, necessary to compile correctly, kinda rare, but amarok has ruby as an rdepend as an example

When will this updated ebuild be available for sabayon users?

I was about to try it for myself, but good to hear that there is some ebuild for 0.4.
