True :)

I was just trying to retain some small token of heritage, the bigger concern is avoiding our OS tan becoming too similar to the Ubuntu one.

Oh, well, yeah, there should probably be some little connection to Gentoo in there of course.

Why would you be worried about looking like the Ubuntu one? We're not a deb or red hat distro at all. :P

Has any thought been given to this in all these years?

Well, I think is a good time to start build something to...
I am not that much able to give you all the complete image (my skill lacks in proportion). But I think my skill would enogh to have, at the last, a desing of Sabayon ostan's face.
Since is need of the all community idea to build her.. I the easyest way, and equal for everyone, is everyone to give his/her opinion through image reference.
for example, if we're going to decide for her haircut just point an image which you'd see there:
http://images.google.com/images?&q=fashion+haircut
and so for any details.

Same rules apply for other face's details, [url=http://images.google.com/images?q=manga+chick]see[/ulr] what do you like ("face ronded as this one", "lips like this other etc...) and I'll try my best with it.
Is just character design, so don't expect me to complete the work :P

that's the base

That's a tiny example of my skill.. based upon this jennifer lopez haircut

I can even try draw it in usa comics style, but things start to get quite hard to me, then. :D

Unfortunately the linked page is for a concept sketch, not a finished image. If there was a finished character I'd use it as a wallpaper.

This is my concept. Obviously, it needs some polish.
