Shortcuts for applications, instead of preinstalled apps.

See

I'm the author... so I thought you people might like it... apparently Ubuntu people don't for no stated apparent reason...

This will help cutdown the size of the live CD/DVDs for Sabayon while actually packing more content.

It really doesn't make sense to me.

A full menu of software you don't have installed asking if you want to install it and which package to install, I think that is more bloat than anything. Maybe you are referring to a separate program instead of a bloated menu system. Sulfur is a GUI package manager to find applications. Just use the package manager, browse and install. Lesser confusion than a bloated menu system. Maybe I just don't get what you are saying either. I just know there is no way I would want a bloated menu system.

I didn't think ubuntu was bloated and I think that is also what the ubuntu people are saying.

We have the minimal option also for those that want a more leaner system, but don't forget, talking binary here, which is gonna pull more stuff vs. a portage system with custom configs.

Sorry for the late responce.

I also said there'll be a shortcut to remove all such shortcuts -

We should have another such shortcut to remove all these shortcuts from the default install. A separate package to install these shortcuts will also be a good idea.
