I just logged out, cleared my temp internet files, cookies, etc, logged back in to check my e-mail and still nothing. (using windows at the moment on my parents computer, they have my LRE box {DSL box} )

Although I'm very new to gentoo and sabayon in particular, maybe I can help you guys writing/editing some of the HOWTOs, especially on portage/emerge, genkernel, eselect,rc-update or anything else really, I learned quite a deal about it (like to get my hands dirty) and I still remember all the beginners errors and puzzles that I had to solve and still solving.

beginner errors is all well and good, but start learning how to use GENTOO, ebuilds and all, all that stuff is helpful, irc is a place we need more people, or make intellegent post to the forum, eventually you'll learn so much that you can do stuff on your own and then come talk to me and we'll see if we can get you to do something
