Sorry for my b*tching but it must be confronted
Where the heck is Quake 4 at, once you installed sabayon 3.1?
Emerging it requires cds. So does one mount the ISO image provided in the 3.1 dvd edition get to it?
As for great games that are hard to find, hahaha I'm trying to help, I found that sabayon has great emulators available under the /usr/games/ section. Some of the emulators included are epsxe, Virtual Boy Advance, and a few others.
The only problem is they're not in the start up menu, which makes them go undetected. Maybe it's because they don't have any ROM's and BIOS already installed. However, they work if you have the two.
I'm not proposing that they be deleted but added on list of programs provided in the menus.
Now if I'm the one who installed them somehow, sorry about that.

Linux is great for gaming, it's just the video card drivers that cause the problems.

Here's a list of games for an add on selection...and sorry if it sounds like I'm advertising.
SPORTS**
First of all, Cannon Smash is my favorite linux game!! This game has me going for hours straight. It's ping pong a.k.a. tennis with a twist.

-Tron <- the 3d version is pretty fun but it's more logic than driving.
FPS (First Person Shooters)**
-Cube 2, Sauerbraten
-Nexuiz
-Enemy Territory <- Heard this was really good but haven't played.
Misc**
Neverball & Neverputt <- very much like Super Monkey Ball from the GameCube.
RPG (Rope Playing games)**
Battle for Wesnoth <- Voted as one of the top 3 best linux games.
Reviews for most of the games
