Song with bad language...

I, too, like the music mentioned above. I think if the distro is going to play music on live boot, it should be something generic and preferably classy to go along with the classy and professional look of Sabayon. Since this subject has come up, I have 2 cents to throw in. My old system was slow enough to let the song finish before I got a desktop. My new system is at desktop before the song is even one third over. My question... Once I'm at a desktop, how do I turn the f@$#%^ing song off?

Maybe it should be just a silly short loop? Or would that cause even more problems?

Oh, and i know several artists (from the Nexuiz community) who distribute their work under GPL or another free license. I'm sure they'd love to make a song for you! (me included)

The original used chickens, but I guess that's copyrighted (is that a word?).

I really like the song, I think it rocks. But then again I'm 47 and used to be in a Punk band years ago. Hell most of the bands I used to listen to back in the 80's and 90's cursed. Until the dim-wit sued the New York radio station for playing George Carlin's 7 words you couldn't say on TV, which went all the way to the supreme court, every rock radio station I knew played at least a few tunes with curse words in them. So many classic bands cursed... the WHO, AC/DC, Sex-Pistols, Violent Femmes, Iggy, Lou Reed... the list goes on. Rock is supposed to inflame... it's the music of frustrated youth. Like Rap/ Hip-hop does to this generation.

Now to the fun part... How in the world can I get that song or any other to play while booting on my hard drive installation?

Any help would be appreciated?

/usr/bin/play is no longer there, but you can use /usr/bin/mplayer instead.
