Keytouch include in sabayon

Hey there
Im basically asking if keytouch could be included in sabayon, if not why?

my argument is that keytouch is a great piece of software that deals with special function keys on keyboards like
play pause, forward, open close etc etc on keyboards such as ms and logitech
this would help the userbase of sabayon linux and adding to its out-of-the-box functionality that (i think) is right near perfect (nvidia drivers and the likes)
the problem i had when i first started using linux and wanted that functionality i had no clue of programs or xmodmap etc etc so took me quite some time to find keytouch, couldnt figure out lineak but keytouch just worked!

well i think thats enough explaination to get my point across

It's not, and it's primarily because kmilo covers most of the functionality with no configuration that keytouch enables after basic configuration. However, it's in the overlay/portage tree, so you can feel free to emerge it at any time (emerge keytouch) and have it fully working after a few minutes, and hour max. I believe there is a package request string somewhere on the forums (most likely beta testing 3.5), if you'd like to find it and add this on. I will admit that keytouch is moderately more extensive - kmilo's easier if it detects all your media keys, but if it doesn't then it's a lot harder to get it to play nicely than keytouch is.
