Newby forum area suggestion.

Not sure where to post this.
I just noticed on another forum a newby forum part and thought it could be very usefull for us here as well.

We could have a few sticky's and guides in there + anyone can help post answers as they feel they have knowledge or have researched about the problem + post a solution ?

Please feel free to add comments and suggestions about this idea and how we can make it a possible solution if considered by admins.

Yeah I've seen this in other forums as well and I an agnostic about it. We already have stickies to the wiki etc and people still fail to see them or use them, so it justs pushes the See wiki, see faqs see stickies posts to another area. I think also it may lead to newbies being forgotten as few older folks want to frequent such a forum and post see the wiki to each question etc.
